This year's event was the biggest and best yet, made possible with your support - we hope you had fun! We'll be back for 2025 with dates to be announced soon. Check back soon for updates!

With an international Irish band and local live performers and artists, the ticketed event is the Festival's main attraction. Gates open at 12.00pm with live music until the festival closes at 9.00pm.

  • Eddie Simmons

    Melbourne, Victoria

    Eddie is an Irish singer/songwriter from a small town in Tipperary, He found his love for playing music at a young age in front of small crowds in local bars.

  • MacCrimmin

    Melbourne, Victoria

    Focusing on tunes and songs from the Irish and Scottish traditions, MacCrimmin is the Celtic music side project of multi-instrumentalist Rhys Crimmin.

  • Pat McKernan

    Pat McKernan has been a big part of the Melbourne Irish music scene for many years. Pat has toured as accompanying guitarist with Irish music legends Finbar Furey and Brendan Grace.

      The Melbourne Céilí Band highlights the strong history of Irish music and culture in Melbourne. It pays tribute to those who cultivated and preserved this music like the Fitzgerald brothers, the Moran family and many more who paved the way for Irish music in Melbourne.

    • Tim Scanlan & Mana Okubo

      Melbourne, Victoria

      Mixing ancient tunes and drones with modern beats and sounds, one-man band Tim Scanlan teams up with violinist Mana Okubo from Japan's 'John John Festival'. Their music flies between Quebecois, Scottish, Irish, Breton and original tunes and songs, all powered by heavy foot percussion and a floor full of effects pedals.

      Galway, Ireland

      After 20 of her own albums, countless DVDS, filmed concerts, musical collaborations and a career that has spanned 40 years, Sharon Shannon is still breaking new musical ground.
